It’s no wonder people are dumping their old boring workouts.
The popularity of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu exploded when a skinny Brazilian dominated the first Ultimate Fighting Championships. Today, it is a core skill of Mixed Martial Arts and known as the single most effective art for unarmed self-defense.
Many people start training jiu jitsu to improve their overall fitness and health or or to learn to defend themselves. But what keeps people coming is the impact it has on their entire life. You learn first hand that hard work and perseverance are all that’s necessary to accomplish any goal. An increase in confidence helps you believe that you can succeed at things you’ve feared failing. New students start here. These classes are structured to allow you to learn the basics in a controlled, safe, and fun environment. All fundamentals will be covered in these classes including takedowns, sweeps, escapes, counters, and submissions.
Designed for those who have completed the beginner curriculum and have attained at least their 2nd stripe on their white belt. These classes feature more complex positional study and more intense sparring. This is a class that will help you push your limits.
These classes are a middle-ground between the Beginner and Advanced series. There is plenty of sparring for our more advanced students but opportunity for plenty of drilling and specific training for those newer to the sport.
Also called Submission Grappling, these classes are conducted without the gi (uniform) and are designed for 2-stripe white belt (and above) students wanting to expand their knowledge of leg locks, practice without a gi (uniform), or improve their mixed martial arts skillset.
